Road Traffic Accident

If you have been involved in a road traffic accident, which was caused by the other driver, as the car driver or owner you can claim:

Cost of the repair – we can arrange for your vehicle to be repaired in accordance with our qualified engineer’s report and for the repair invoice to be paid by the other driver’s insurance company.
Write-off value – if your car is damaged beyond repair, we can arrange for it to be valued by our engineer and obtain a cheque for the write-off value from the other driver’s insurers.
Replacement car hire – whilst your car is being repaired or you are awaiting a cheque to replace your vehicle, we can arrange for a hire car to be provided so that you are not further inconvenienced.
Out-of-pocket expenses – any reasonable expenses, which you incur as a result of the accident, may be claimed on your behalf.
Compensation for injuries – if you were injured in the accident, we will arrange a medical examination and will include a claim for compensation on your behalf.
Loss of earnings – if you lose wages as a result of the accident, or profits if you are self-employed, we can include a claim to recover those monies for you.

Even if you were just a passenger in a car involved in a traffic accident, you may still be entitled to claim compensation for your injuries. Again, we will advise you on your case, arrange a medical examination and provide you with an early indication of what your claim will be worth.

We have prepared a special factsheet about making a claim having been involved in a road traffic accident that wasn’t your fault, to download a copy just click on the link below.
